Longmark's directors, Mark Fink and Mike Longman, are both Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors and were both formerly tax partners in Group A accounting firms. As experienced tax practitioners they have a keen understanding of the content and style of conferences that appeal to fellow senior tax specialists.

Mike was until recently the Chairman of the Manchester Branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and Mark has several years experience of successfully designing tax seminars for members of that branch. Their standing within the tax profession means that they have strong existing contacts with many of the most highly regarded tax speakers.

Having previously organised events for the CIOT Mark and Mike have used their understanding of tax to organise and design conferences that appeal to fellow senior tax practitioners. Longmark held its first conference in May 206 and since then over 1,500 tax professionals have attended our conference and many of them have attracted over 100 delegates. Overall feedback from our events to date is very positive and the majority of all delegates who completed the feedback forms rated the conference they attended as either excellent or very good.

Our Conference Co-Ordinator Leigh Nelson worked in the market research sector for over 20 years for such leading organisations as NOP and the BBC. Leigh is very experienced at organising events; she even once had to hire a plane to get consumers to a research project in Versailles!
